Joanne McGriff
Joanne A. McGriff, MD, MPH, JM is one of seven deans and a faculty member in global health at the Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University. At Emory, she splits her time between administration and teaching, and serves as a core member of the Center for Global Safe Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) at Emory. She has done rural development and WASH work in several countries in Africa, Southeast Asia and the Caribbean. As a descendent of Haitian parents and fluent in Haitian Creole, she has also worked in Haiti and/or volunteered with Haiti-based organizations over the last 15yrs helping to deliver medical care, safe water projects, economic development and education programs.
